The product serial number appears in three locations, and all numbers must match across the following styles: (from left to right) black-on-white, black-on-yellow, and laser-engraved. Please verify before depositing.
A hexagonal honeycomb pattern becomes visible only after the outside sticker has been peeled off. If you see this pattern on an unpeeled sticker, the card has likely been tampered with.
The sticker covering the passphrase has a tiny “Ballet” watermark pattern on the top layer, which can be scratched off to reveal a transparent layer beneath, displaying laser-engraved text on the product. You do not need to peel off the sticker to use the card. If you can see the laser-engraved text, or if the scratch-off is damaged, does not have the Ballet wording, or otherwise appears tampered with, do not use the card.
There is a Ballet “B” logo in the top right corner of the QR sticker that displays iridescent colors when viewed from different angles. If the logo lacks iridescence, the card may be counterfeit.
When you rub the QR code on the card, you should smell a subtle vanilla fragrance. If there is no fragrance, the card may be counterfeit.
The QR code sticker features UV-reactive text that becomes red and fully visible under ultraviolet light. In other lighting conditions, the text is mostly invisible but may appear as a faint trace.
